Job Summary:
The disciplinary focus for this lectureship is finance, with an emphasis on investments. The successful candidate will teach a 4-4 load (four sections of introduction to finance, investments, or other finance-related courses per semester).
The ideal candidate is passionate about conveying key concepts and current trends in finance, and can help prepare students to succeed in their chosen profession. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience related to investments and financial literacy.
We are seeking faculty members excited to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance and related subjects. The successful candidate will have qualifications and professional experience in the field of finance. This is a teaching-focused role. Service expectations for this position include oversight of our financial literacy program. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for this term position.
We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for this position is 24 credits per year (4-4 load).
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in business or closely related field, and extensive graduate study or professional experience related to finance. Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience outside of academia.
Essential Functions:
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Maintaining an active research agenda or significant professional activities that maintain connection to the finance profession.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree, or significant progress towards a doctoral degree, from an AACSB-accredited school is a plus, but not required.

* Tuition Benefits:
* Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26.
* University pays 100% tuition only.
* Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.
* Eligibility requirements including waiting periods and/or employee probationary periods may apply at the discretion of the University.
