What We Desire of Our New Pastor:
The Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie is seeking a full-time pastor who embodies warmth, approachability, and deep compassion. We hope to welcome a leader who offers steady pastoral care, celebrating with us in joyful seasons and walking beside us in times of challenge.

We are looking for a gifted preacher who communicates the Gospel with clarity, energy, and relevance. Our congregation values sermons that thoughtfully connect Scripture with the realities of modern life.

In our church survey, members repeatedly emphasized the importance of addressing present-day issues, navigating the complexities of the world around us, and exploring how timeless Biblical truths speak to contemporary concerns. An openness to progressive thinking, fresh perspectives, and broad, inclusive dialogue is required.

We also seek a pastor with a strong personal faith and a passion for meaningful, well-crafted worship. Our next leader should be eager to partner with the congregation as we continue shaping our mission, priorities, and vision for the future.
