Part‑Time Faculty, Biology
Job SummaryThe Marist University Biology Department is looking for qualified Part‑Time Faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Biology for the 2026‑2027 Academic Year.
Essential FunctionsEffectively teach on‑ground courses to help achieve departmentally‑determined student learning outcomes.
Courses to be Taught- Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab – Thursday 9:30 am – 12:15 pm (Option B: Tuesday or Wednesday 6:30 – 9:15 pm)
- Topics in Biology (non‑majors, flexible topic) – Monday & Wednesday 5:00 – 6:15 pm
- Life on Earth (non‑majors, evolutionary focus) – Monday & Wednesday 5:00 – 6:15 pm
Opportunities to teach additional courses may become available in future semesters. All classes are at the undergraduate level and are offered in‑person at the Marist campus in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in Biology or closely related field.
