Job SummaryMarist University invites applications for the position of Part‑Time Faculty, Economics for the 2026‑2027 Academic Year. This position is responsible for teaching undergraduate‑level Economics courses:
Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. Topics in microeconomics include demand and supply analysis, market failures and government intervention, consumer decision making, supply decisions by firms, industry structure, and the role of ethics in consumer and producer economics decisions. Topics in macroeconomics include economic growth, business cycles, unemployment, inflation, macroeconomic models, fiscal policy, the Federal Reserve System, banking, monetary policy, and the role of ethics in macroeconomics.
- Master’s degree in Economics or related field.
- Strong technology skills.
- Familiarity with learning management systems.
Part‑Time Faculty, Economics will be guided by a syllabus set for the course. Selected finalists will be responsible for delivering content, assessing learning, and maintaining active communication with students.
