Overview
Assistant Professor of Management, tenure-track position in the Department of Management, School of Management at Marist University. Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000. This position is focused on teaching and scholarly activity in management and related fields, with an emphasis on quality teaching in a small-class setting.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management, human resource management, organizational behavior, and related subjects.
- Maintain an active program of disciplinary research leading to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
- Participate in School activities including committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach.
- Contribute to departmental life and service activities; support curriculum development and program assessment.
- Manage a typical course load of 21 credits per academic year, with a distribution of approximately 3:4 (three courses in one term and four in another).
- Terminal degree in management or a closely related field (Ph.D. or ABD with projected completion by December 2027).
- Professional experience is highly desirable.
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Maintaining an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications.
- Advising students, participating in service activities, and serving on committees as needed.

- 403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity – Roth option available; voluntary up to IRS maximum
- Tuition benefits:
- Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester; up to 18 graduate credits per academic calendar
- Employee, spouse, and dependent children under 26 eligible
- University pays 100% tuition only for eligible dependents; reimbursements up to $2,000 per semester toward tuition at another accredited institution
