Anticipated Part-time Teaching Assistant Positions
Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for anticipated part-time teaching assistant positions at our Arlington High School for the school year.
Positions include:
- Two 35 hr/wk part-time special education teaching assistants (life skills) starting salary $23,377
- One 35 hr/wk part-time special education teaching assistant (special class) starting salary $23,377
The district offers:
- Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more
- Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more
- Access to educator's EAP
- Optional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS teacher retirement system (pension)
- Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000)
Starting salary is approximately $18.05/hr however, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.
Anticipated positions will range in hours approximately 27.5 hours per week up to 35 hours per week.
