Job Description:

An Instructor shows promises of teaching competence in a given subject matter area.

The instructor performs scheduled teaching duties in the classrooms, laboratories and off-campus learning centers as directed by the department chairman and teaches under the supervision of senior faculty and the academic deans.

Requirements:

A Masters degree in Sociology or closely related field is required.

Teaching experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Adjunct Faculty positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement between Dutchess Community College and Dutchess United Educators (DUE).
