Location: Poughkeepsie, NY (hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, margin analysis, cost accounting, and operational decision-making initiatives. This individual will serve as a key contributor in evaluating profitability, managing cost models, developing dashboards and reporting, and providing actionable financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Net Suite, advanced Excel skills, and a solid accounting or finance background with experience analyzing complex financial and operational data.
Key Responsibilities Financial & Margin Analysis- Develop and maintain margin accounting methodologies and cost models.
- Analyze profitability, contribution margins, reimbursement trends, and direct and indirect costs.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Create and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, KPI metrics, and variance analyses.
- Develop executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Analyze financial and operational performance data to support strategic decision-making.
- Build financial models to evaluate business initiatives and operational improvements.
- Analyze inventory utilization, purchasing trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with operational teams to evaluate vendor relationships and purchasing performance.
- Support cost accounting and margin optimization initiatives.
- Develop financial analyses supporting growth initiatives and new business opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Purchasing, and other key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
. - Recent, hands-on Net Suite experience (
required
). - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong inventory and purchasing analytics experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with margin accounting, cost accounting, or service line profitability analysis.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or system optimization initiatives.
