Health Quest Home Care - Home Health Aide:

$2,500 Sign on Bonus

Salary Range: $19.50 - $25.65

• Assists the patient with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and dressing.
• Assists the client with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities. This includes knowledge in use of assistive devices such as canes, walkers, crutches, and lifts.
• Independently assists the patient with meal preparation/cooking and/or feeding.
• Must have working knowledge of special diets, diet restrictions, and techniques to maintain sanitary kitchen conditions to prevent food‑borne illnesses.
• Assists the patient with medication prompts to remind the patient to self‑administer his/her medications.
• Identifies changes in patient condition that require notification to the patient’s registered case manager.
• Takes vital signs to include temperature, pulse, heart rate, respiratory rate.

• Active NYS Home Health Aide Certification.
• Driver’s License.

Working conditions:

• Significant manual skills / motor coordination & finger dexterity
