NEW Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MT) - Poughkeepsie, NY Area
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join a busy pathology laboratory team. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information to support high-quality patient care. Shift is:
Monday through Friday, 12 PM - 9 PM, and every other weekend, 9:30 AM - 6 PM.
Responsibilities
- Process patient specimens as a bench technologist across Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and PCR testing
- Review and correlate patient history with laboratory results
- Perform, document, and troubleshoot quality control procedures
- Complete and document preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment
- Operate and maintain diagnostic instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Accurately enter and retrieve patient data within the electronic medical record

- Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
- 1-3 years of related laboratory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and staff
- $34-$42 per hour, based on experience
