We are seeking a Regional Account Director based in the Mid-Hudson Valley, NY region to join our dynamic team and drive the growth and success of patient referral channels for aptihealth. This role will play a critical part in executing our growth strategy by building, strengthening, and scaling strategic partnerships across the region.
In this position, you will design and implement strategies to cultivate strong relationships with primary care physicians, hospitals, and specialty provider groups, ensuring a seamless flow of patient referrals into our behavioral health programs. You will serve as a trusted partner to referral sources while identifying new opportunities to expand our regional footprint.

- Must be based in the Mid-Hudson Valley, NY
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in customer success, account management, or business development in healthcare, including direct engagement with primary care practices and hospital systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare landscape, with the ability to navigate patient referral workflows and applicable regulatory requirements..
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with healthcare professionals.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally 3–5 days per week (within an approximately one-hour driving radius) to meet with prospective referral partners; reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales or growth targets.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for improving mental health outcomes and a commitment to aptihealth's mission.
- Strengthen Customer Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with primary care physicians, hospitals, and specialty groups within your designated territory. Understand their unique needs and ensure they have a positive experience working with aptihealth.
- Drive Growth: Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify opportunities for expanding the use of aptihealth's services. Advocate for our solutions and promote their benefits in improving patient outcomes.
- Training and Onboarding: Provide comprehensive training and support to healthcare providers to ensure they understand our platform, referral processes, and how to maximize its value for their patients.
