JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the Systems administration of all information technologies impacting on the operations of Surgical Services. Provides for the scheduling of procedures, posting of surgical charges and data entry, statistical analysis, report generation, preparation of Surgical Services schedule, preparation of pre-operative patient charts.

• Education:
  
  Requires high school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years in the Operating Room or other related Surgical Services Department preferred. Surgical acumen related to scheduling/clerical/ administrative processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision. General knowledge of Windows based applications and systems hardware. Surgical terminology required. Basic PC skills required-windows proficient Typing 40 wpm Working knowledge of basic office equipment preferred
  -photocopiers, computer printers.
• License: N/A

• Physical:
  Requires moderate physical effort on a regular basis, as in frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping or reaching and/or occasional lifting of light items
• (i.e. up to 20 Ibs.). Periodic eye or ear strain (less than 50% of the time).
• Hourly Rate: $24.18
