• Assist with the setup of banquet rooms and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations according to event specifications.
• Ensure all equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged; set up and operate audiovisual equipment and lighting.
• Greet guests warmly, escort them to assigned tables, and assist with seating.
• Take food and beverage orders, use suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide personalized service to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns; resolve any issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, replenish supplies as needed to keep environment clean.
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup: remove linens, fold chairs, dismantle decorations.
• Complete post-event cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in banquet areas.

• High-level customer service; effective communication with guests and team; ability to follow instructions; quick learner; attention to detail; composure under pressure.

• Serving and/or setup experience preferred; must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state law.
