Summary

The purpose of this position is to support the Workforce Development team in fulfilling contractually obligated workforce and career readiness programs. This role will assist with program planning, execution and reporting and help raise the level of capacity and communication of the Workforce Team to its various internal and external stakeholders. This role will serve as a key point of contact and coordinator for specific external workforce initiatives in CT and New York and help drive organizational and HR goals for Nuvance Health employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help plan and coordinate workforce development programs, working with the Director and Career Navigators to support program activities coordination, timelines, and scopes of work.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the Workforce Development Team and external partners, including nonprofits/service providers, academic affiliates and other support, workforce and career training organizations.
  • Liaise with Career Navigators and internal hospital clients to define and execute onsite program logistics, ensuring service providers adhere to line requirements and MOUs.
  • Coordinate experiential learning opportunities within the Nuvance Health system, ensuring all participants have a positive experience.
  • Analyze program progress and adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results; compile outcomes and provide best practice recommendations.
  • Compile and regularly update Workforce team and internal stakeholders on program metrics, outcomes, and workforce participant conversion rates.
  • Advocate for program participants and drive community hires from the assigned programs.
  • Coordinate and support private and public funded workforce and career development programs in collaboration with several Nuvance departments.
  • Present workforce programs and outcomes internally and externally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and achieve unit and departmental goals while adhering to Nuvance Health standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Work with Career Navigators on external workforce program planning, execution and reporting.
  • Attend external stakeholder meetings of community and academic organizations.
  • Deliver to the program perimeters based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure proper coordination and communication between external partners and workforce participants.
  • Ensure program organization and conformance with timeline and deliverable requirements.
  • Support workforce participant conversion into Nuvance Health roles.
  • Organize program performance data, track progress, workforce hires and milestone achievements.
  • Coordinate workforce initiative communications to internal stakeholders and hospital locations.
  • Assign and monitor resources to boost program efficiency and maximize outcomes.
  • Report on project risks and raise issues per the project work plan when needed.
  • Support internal mobility and advancement opportunities through targeted communications.
  • Serve as point of contact between workforce development team and internal stakeholders, including Leadership, HR, HEDI, Communications, etc.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in program management, operations, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce and career development.
  • Experience working with community-based organizations, nonprofits and academic institutions.
  • Experience coordinating teams and client stakeholders.
  • Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Valid Driver's License; regional travel required.
  • Hybrid role; regular attendance at external meetings and Corporate HQ in Danbury, CT required; flexibility key.
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification such as PMP preferred.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); CRM/ATS experience a plus.
  • Analytic skills for gathering and interpreting data to develop metrics that measure desired outcomes.
  • Previous Healthcare experience a plus.
