American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Administrative House Manager (House Supervisor) - Nights position in Poughkeepsie, NY, requiring ICU and ED clinical experience along with supervisory/management background.

Job Details

• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,

• Hospital-based role overseeing operations across all departments during overnight hours,

• Responsible for patient throughput, capacity management, and bed placement across the facility,

• Coordinates interfacility patient transfers through the transfer center,

• Manages staffing plans and resource allocation based on unit acuity and census,

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NY RN license required; a screenshot or photo of a completed license application is acceptable if the license is pending,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; only AHA-issued certifications are accepted,

• 3-5+ years of clinical nursing experience with ICU and ED experience specifically required,

• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience required,

• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same discipline are required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Assumes accountability for hospital-wide operations including clinical practice, environment of care, and patient safety,

• Responds to all emergency calls, codes, and alerts throughout the hospital,

• Escalates operational, clinical, and risk management issues through the appropriate chain of command,

• Addresses patient complaints in real time through service recovery,

• Partners with department leadership across the organization to ensure continuity of care,

• Timekeeping is managed through the Kronos system,
