Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour, based on experience

Shifts Available: 1st Shift or 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment while contributing to the production of high‑quality components. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating multi‑axis CNC machines, making tool offsets, troubleshooting production issues, and performing quality inspections.

Programming or editing experience is a plus.

• Set up and operate multi‑axis CNC machining equipment
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain efficient production
• Prepare machines for production runs and ensure proper setup of materials and tooling
• Manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Maintain material identification and traceability throughout the manufacturing process
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and production requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, or CNC Setup Technician required
• Experience operating and setting up multi‑axis CNC machinery
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, CMMs, and vision systems
• Experience performing tool offsets and machine adjustments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with Mastercam and/or Solid Works preferred
• Editing and programming experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
