Machine Operator – 2nd Shift Production
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:00 AM until the end of production
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy production team in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a hands-on manufacturing role responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient production output in a fast-paced environment.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with prior machine operation experience who are looking for a long-term position with growth potential.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:- Operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine performance and maintain consistent production output
- Inspect products to ensure quality and specification standards are met
- Perform machine adjustments and assist with basic troubleshooting as needed
Maintain accurate production records and follow operating procedures - Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety and quality guidelines
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
- Previous machine operation experience is required
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written instructions and production procedures
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude preferred
- Reliable work ethic and strong attendance record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
