Soldering Technician

Our client, electronics manufacturing industry is seeking several

Soldering Technicians to join their team. As a Soldering Technician, you will be part of the production support team supporting electronic assembly and testing processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

• Perform soldering tasks on electronic components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Utilize tools and equipment to assemble and test electronic devices.
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and schematics to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards.
• Assist in rework and repair processes using microscope soldering techniques.

• At least 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing or related field.
• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards and certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and BOMs.
• Proficiency with hand tools, solder stations, and microscope soldering.
• Physical ability to walk several times a day and lift 15 lbs or more as needed.
