Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg Travel Nurse:
Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatments.
Administer medications and therapies according to physician orders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.

Requirements of the Med Surg Travel Nurse:
Active New York RN license (or eligibility to obtain).
1 year Med Surg nursing experience required.
Previous experience in Med Surg Nephrology patient population preferred
Current BLS certification required.
Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and communication skills.
