SUMMARY
Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals and policies and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years high-risk labor and delivery experience required. - License:
Current New York State Registered Nurse license. - Certifications:
BLS required, fetal monitoring certification within 6 months, and NRP upon completion of orientation.
- Manual:
Little or no manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity. - Occupational:
Little or no potential for occupational risk. - Physical Effort:
Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force. - Physical Environment:
Generally pleasant working conditions. - Credentials: RN, BLS.
