Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Nuvance Health, now part of Northwell Health, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our OB/GYN group. We have 5 midwives and are expanding to 7. The role includes 2 clinic days and one 24‑hour call shift per week (80 hours in each two‑week pay period). Weekends and holidays are shared among the group.

Responsibilities:
Full‑scope midwifery care, patient empowerment, evidence‑based practice, collaboration with a diverse patient population. Provide clinical competence, compassion, empathy, patient education and lifelong learning.

Qualifications:

Certified Nurse Midwife licensure, commitment to patient empowerment, excellent communication skills, ability to establish rapport and trust, reliable and adaptable, clinical competence, compassion, empathy, cultural sensitivity, interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
