Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Nuvance Health, now part of Northwell Health, seeks an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife PRN to join our successful and growing OB/GYN group. We are a collaborative Midwife/OB‑GYN team providing care to a diverse patient population drawn from multiple counties in the Hudson Valley. We currently have 5 midwives in the practice and are seeking to increase staffing to 7.

Our goal is to provide 24/7 midwifery coverage alongside our physician colleagues. If you are excited by the opportunity to help grow and shape a practice, this is the job for you!

The ideal candidate is dedicated to the midwifery model of patient empowerment, providing full scope care grounded in compassion and shared decision making. We seek a team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients and families, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and a high level of clinical competence. The candidate should be reliable, adaptable, compassionate, empathetic, committed to patient education, culturally sensitive, and possess strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

$85.00/hr Per Diem Rate

Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
