Patient Safety Companion-Sitter

Position: Patient Safety Companion-Sitter-Full Time-Day
Nuvance Health -  - Responsibilities:
Assists in the delivery of patient care as a nursing team member by performing tasks as directed by the nurse for patients who require close observation.;
Assists in always maintaining patient safety and adheres to infection control policies.;
Assists with comfort measures and therapeutic activities and orientation to surrounding.;
Reviews care plans with the nurse and communicates special care needs to the primary nurse.;
Assists with safe transfer of patients and equipment using proper techniques and body mechanics.
