RN Supervisor-Weekend Days Job Summary
The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley, a leading provider of rehabilitation and nursing care in Poughkeepsie, New York, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Supervisor-Weekend Days to join our team. ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on weekend shifts to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
Provide guidance and support to direct care staff, including orientation, training, and performance feedback
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes
Collaborate with other departments, such as social work and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, customer service, and teamwork
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in supervisory or leadership roles
Proven ability to lead and motivate staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
Ability to work flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
