Position Details

• Part‑time Storeroom Supervisor
• Location:
  
  Marist Murray Dining Hall – 3399 North Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (online applications only)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Thursday and Saturday, PM shift (details after interview)
• Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
• Referral bonus available
• Minimum requirement:
  Experience in logistics and product rotation

Oversees and coordinates activities in a storeroom or stockroom.

• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
• Ensure stocks and supplies are adequate, stored to preserve quality.
• Apply FIFO system to minimize waste.
• Plan layout and design of the storeroom considering turnover, size and weight.
• Communicate with management and recommend handling of non‑usable, slow‑moving or excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock‑control records.
• Assist vendors in gaining access to deliver and supervise during insecure periods.
• Cover shifts for absent storeroom employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
