• Facilitate the efficient receiving, unpacking, and organization of stock to ensure timely placement on the sales floor.
• Manage the setup and upkeep of displays for various store sections, ensuring accurate signage and highlighting promotions according to corporate standards for resets and seasonal changes.
• Oversee the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, and ensuring a smooth operation for each day.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing pressing issues.
• Supervise the daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective performance and exemplary customer service.
• Assist in onboarding and ongoing training for associates, focusing on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures to enhance performance.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service initiatives.
• Implement the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed correctly and updated frequently, while maintaining inventory integrity.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Creative thinking capabilities.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Frequently operate the cash register.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and carry or arrange items at heights of 5-10 feet.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and organize stock as needed.
• Engage in activities that may include kneeling, bending, twisting, and stooping, both in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers in-store and over the phone, as well as with managers and peers.
• Navigate the sales floor to assist customers and efficiently manage stock room activities.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, and may require overnight shifts and travel when necessary.
• Ability to understand and interpret instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and operational procedures.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
