Compensation
Pay range: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour, including base wages and possible premiums based on schedule, facility or specific work performed.
Responsibilities- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service programs and ensure telephone service follows company policy.
- Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders timely, notifying customers upon shipment arrivals.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, following procedure and using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately, issuing refunds using correct payment methods and staging returned merchandise appropriately.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Enforce adherence to posted work schedules, approve schedule changes by management, and ensure team members clock in/out per policy.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, managing security lights and alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
- Execute any additional duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
- ASE Certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
