Base Salary: $84,400 – $104,500 + Bonus / Profit Sharing + Full Benefits

What

You’ll Do

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing an assigned sales territory by building strong relationships with current customers while developing new business opportunities throughout the market. You’ll serve as a trusted resource to contractors by helping them identify the right product solutions, pricing jobs, following up on quotes, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an assigned territory by developing new business and strengthening existing customer relationships
  • Call on professional contractors and prospective customers to promote the company’s product offering and service capabilities
  • Maintain a visible presence in the market through regular jobsite visits, customer meetings, and branch collaboration
  • Provide product information, samples, training, and education to customers and their teams
  • Quote jobs, review blueprints, and follow up to win business while maintaining target margins
  • Identify target accounts, build call plans, and execute follow-up strategies to increase market share
  • Support customers with project needs by recommending complete product solutions and related materials
  • Work closely with customers on account balances, payments, and credit applications to keep accounts in good standing
  • Manage customer concerns and provide responsive, solution-oriented service
  • Track sales activity, customer updates, and pipeline progress using company CRM tools
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and vendor events as needed
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated outside sales professional who understands the contractor channel and thrives in a relationship-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in building materials, construction distribution, or a related industry
  • Experience calling on contractors, builders, remodelers, or other professional customers
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and territory management skills
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, quote jobs, and follow up effectively
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and discussing product applications with customers
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in the field
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
