Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation is seeking an experienced Law Enforcement Officer to assist in the enhancement of the physical security of all Central Hudson personnel and property, while reducing the risk of disruption to the critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Responds to, assesses and takes control of incidents and investigations that occur within their office property or service area involving Central Hudson Gas & Electric personnel and/or property
- Prepares and submits investigative reports, criminal depositions, and other court related documentation
- Conducts annual emergency response drills with the First Responder community
- Participates in the Revenue Recovery Program
- Conducts physical security inspections of substations within their assigned region
- Directly supervises the contracted uniformed guards in their service area
- Assists Human Resources with confidential investigations
- Assists with storm outage duties
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of law enforcement experience
- Excellent report writing, communication and computer skills
- Investigatory and skilled interview experience and the ability and willingness to accept additional responsibilities as necessary
- Extensive travel throughout the Company’s service territory, and occasional nationwide travel, as well as a willingness to meet non-traditional time demands of the position
- Valid driver’s license
- Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Public Safety, Forensics, Emergency Management or related field
- Incident Command System (ICS) training
- Established first responder network throughout the Central Hudson territory
Pay range: $101,000-$151,500
