As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol campus areas, support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors, and help to deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.59 - $22.59 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tuesday 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM, Thursday 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations while documenting security‑related activities according to site requirements.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and communicating clearly with campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related matters.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
