Learn more:  As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence.

You will conduct routine patrols, deliver strong customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational campus.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help deter trespassing, disruptive behavior, and or other unusual conditions while following post orders and location protocols.
• Assist with routine security‑related duties such as providing directions, supporting campus events, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or facility issues that could affect daily operations.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
