Fleet Lube Technician

Job Title

Fleet Lube Technician, Poughkeepsie, NY

This position is accountable for the maintenance of all company owned vehicles, specialty vehicles through contract agreements, auxiliary and shop equipment.

• Prompt and regular attendance.
• Perform all activities required by the company preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain all company owned vehicles.
• Remove vehicles from service as necessary for preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Ensure proper safeguarding of tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Prepare or complete all work orders and failure reports.
• Comply with all local, state and federal laws (i.e., HIPAA and OSHA).
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform other duties as may be required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's License.
• Completion of apprenticeship in automotive or truck repair.
• Basic principles of repair and replacement.

• Occasionally kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequently hearing/listening, clear speech, reaching, touching.

Works outdoors and indoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions, fumes/odors, extended days, and temperature changes. Exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment.

Hourly wage: $25.00. Report to Fleet Supervisor. Non-Exempt.
