Cool Sys is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. In this field-based role, you'll perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and emergency service while ensuring safety, code compliance, and energy-efficient operation. You'll work directly with retail, commercial, and mission-critical customers, delivering reliable, customer-focused service. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment
  • Respond to emergency service calls and resolve system issues safely and efficiently
  • Verify system performance, refrigerant levels, and electrical components for optimal operation
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
  • Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports
  • Communicate findings, repair options, and status updates to customers and dispatch
  • Assist with installations, retrofits, and startup of new HVAC/R equipment
  • Maintain tools, service vehicle, and materials in clean, safe working condition
