Assistant Residence Manager

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the residence program.
- Oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults, partnering with them to facilitate daily care, enhance personal development, foster self‑esteem, and meet or exceed individualized goals for success.
- Provide supervisory support and develop leadership skills to progress toward a house manager position.
- High school diploma or GED with one year of related experience; bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with one year of related experience preferred.
- Valid New York Driver’s License.
- Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, with a sense of humor.
- Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
Pre‑employment physical assessment required. Significant and frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Frequent planned outside activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Adequate vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and speaking ability to communicate at normal volumes by phone or in person.
