Location: City of Poughkeepsie
Family Services in New York seeks a DART Victim Advocate to liaison with the police department, provide casework and crisis counseling, safety planning, and referrals. The role includes accompanying victims to hospitals, courts, and police departments and handling on-call coverage as needed.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in human services or 3–5 years of related experience, NYS DOH Rape Crisis Counselor training, mandated reporter training, and strong organizational and writing skills.
