• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience with programming in C/C++ or Java, and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: linux kernel (processes, threads, scheduling, syscalls, interrupts and exceptions), tool chains (compilers, JIT compilation and symbolization), or android system software stack.
• Experience conducting full‑stack performance analysis and optimization on software systems.
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with emphasis on computer architecture.
• Ability to dive into new technical territories.
• Ability to be a fast and effective learner.
• Ability to be comfortable and work on issues with ambiguity.
• English proficiency is a requirement for all roles unless stated otherwise in a posting.

• Perform in-depth search analysis on workloads and kernels to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Plan and evaluate ARM architecture features, providing data‑driven insights that shape future SoC designs.
• Partner with Android workload owners, tool‑chain experts, and device teams to implement full‑system optimizations.
• Design benchmarks and modeling methodology that will define the next decade of hardware/software co‑design.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $138,000‑$198,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation details reflect base salary only.
