Non CDL - Box Truck Driver

Overview

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a Non CDL Driver for our Poughkeepsie, NY location. Must have CDL B or a valid Driver's License. Box truck driving experience is desired. Forklift experience is required. There is an opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to job sites and physically unloading material per the customer's request, as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

The role requires at least 1 year of box truck delivery driving experience with either a CDL B or a Non-CDL Class

C.

• Safely deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer requests.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Move materials from receiving to designated areas.
• Load trucks with material for daily deliveries, ensuring compliance with weight limits according to DOT regulations.

• CDL Class B or Class C / Driver's License
• Box truck driving experience
• Forklift experience required
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Heavy lifting experience (50–100 lbs routinely; occasionally more)
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
