CDL-A Contract Driver – Arnoff Moving & Storage, Inc
Join a 102-year-old moving and storage team as an Independent Contractor
We are seeking experienced CDL-A Contractors with their own tractor to partner with and grow with Arnoff. We have strong roots and a superior work ethic, and we take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, operating safely, and handling household or commercial goods with care. We want to hear from you!!!
Responsibilities- Operate your tractor and Arnoff trailers safely and efficiently.
- Transport household goods, office furniture, equipment, and other customer property.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing shipments when necessary.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, ELD logs, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations staff, and customers.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations.
- Valid CDL-A License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Moving and storage, furniture delivery, or household goods experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items safely.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to pass required background and motor vehicle record checks.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
