Non CDL - Box Truck Driver

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a Non CDL Driver for our Poughkeepsie, NY location. Must have a CDL B or a valid Driver's License.

Drivers will safely deliver products to job sites, unload materials at customer request, receive items in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory. The role includes 1 year of box truck delivery driving experience, forklift operation, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs of material throughout the day.

• Valid CDL B or Class C license (non‑CDL Driver’s License acceptable)
• Minimum 1 year of box truck driving experience
• Forklift experience required
• Clean driving record
• At least 21 years of age
• Background check and pre‑employment DOT drug screen required
• Strong physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs, with occasional lifting over 100 lbs

• Load trucks with scheduled delivery material while securing weight limits per DOT regulations
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse
• Move materials and items from receiving to designated areas
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Adhere to safety and quality standards on all job sites

• Flexible work/life schedule:
  Monday‑Friday 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M., with home every night
