The Raytheon Full Service Partnering Center (FSPC) is seeking a Drafting Engineer II professional to join a multi-disciplinary technical team, providing critical technical services to support the design, development, evaluation, and deployment of both legacy and next-generation military systems. This onsite position is located in Poulsbo, WA.
In this role, you will collaborate within a government/contractor team environment as well as contribute individually to evaluate, develop, maintain, verify, and field essential engineering artifacts and deliverables. These efforts directly support the safety and operational readiness of our warfighters and government partners. Key responsibilities include executing tasks related to engineering analysis, technical documentation, engineering drawing development and maintenance, and fostering team collaboration.
You will be expected to work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability, while leveraging your problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

What You Will Do- Review and analyze engineering artifacts to provide recommendations for design, manufacturing, reliability, maintainability, and supportability improvements.
- Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and required updates to internal teams and government customers.
- Translate approved recommendations into updates of engineering artifacts and documentation.
- Assist in the development, review, and validation of maintenance and operational procedures.
- Contribute to the creation, review, and validation of technical data, illustrations, and associated repositories.
- Leverage engineering analysis tools to model and integrate new technologies into existing systems or testing infrastructures.
- Develop manufacturing procedures for producing end-item assemblies.
- Develop testing procedures to verify the operational performance of electromechanical assemblies and systems.
- Support business development activities, including proposals, design and development reviews, and customer presentations, as needed.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in engineering drafting, including developing, modifying, and updating technical drawings.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with a focus on analytics.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in team-based, shared, or independent work environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, particularly Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with analysis tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
