Our Aftermarket operations are based out of Poway, CA and our Motorsports operations are based out of Mooresville, NC.

Expectations for this position are 16 - 24 hours per week on‑site at our Poway, CA facility.

As an Accounting Intern at BILSTEIN Automotive, you’ll gain practical insights and skills essential for a successful career in accounting.

• Supports the Accounting department with general administration.
• Accurately reconciles customer accounts receivable accounts.
• Follows up with customers on over‑due items.
• Reviews and sends monthly statements.
• Accurately sets up new customer & vendor accounts.
• Reviews and sends customer invoices.
• Completes inventory analysis.
• Reconciles logistics monthly spend.
• Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintain accountability for performance.
• Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Candidates for the Accounting Intern role should posses the following:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Power
  
  BI and Power Pivots experience strongly preferred.
• Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with well‑developed organizational skills.

• Valuable experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
• Mentorship from seasoned accounting professionals.
• Exposure to real‑world scenarios and opportunities to contribute to accounting efforts.
