Registered Dental Assistant

A mission-driven healthcare organization in Valley Center, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a patient-centered dental team. This onsite Registered Dental Assistant role is ideal for an experienced RDA who enjoys providing high-quality chairside support, assisting with general and specialty dental procedures, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. • Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and general or specialty dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, and dental materials to support efficient clinical care.
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards in accordance with clinical requirements.
• Provide patient education and help create a positive, organized, and comfortable patient experience.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records while following HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA, and safety guidelines.

• Pay range: $29 to $33 per hour.

• Assist with general and specialty dental procedures in a busy clinical environment.
• Support patient preparation, chairside care, documentation, and clinical workflow.
• Maintain sterilization, infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
• Provide patient education and support a compassionate, professional dental care experience.
• Current California Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Dental Assistant experience required.
• Graduate of an RDA or Dental Assisting program required.
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of infection control, sterilization, HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA, and dental safety standards.
• Ability to take dental X-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs as needed.
• Strong patient care, communication, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.

• 3 or more years of Registered Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• OCHIN Epic experience is a plus.
