Pay Range$28
Pay will vary for day-to‑day assignments and is typically more for long‑term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

- Referral Program:
Refer friends to sub with Scoot – after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards - The role is non‑exempt. Actual pay is hourly and based on hours worked
- Some college credits (48 Units)
- State & federal background checks
- Provide contact information for three references, at least one of which must be from a role involving work with children (non‑family related)
TB risk assessment or test
You’ll Stand Out If You- Have experience working in Special Education
- Have experience working with elementary‑aged students
- Are available 5 days a week from Monday to Friday
- Can commit to daily 4‑hour shifts, between the time of 1 pm – 6 pm
- Support and engage students during after school activities, including homework help, enrichment, and structured play
- Supervise students to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors
- Assist staff with daily program routines, transitions, and behavior management while building strong student relationships
- Sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
- Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings
- Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process
