Pay and BenefitsCompensation: $16.90 - $28.00/hour. Pay varies by assignment, certification, and school.
- Paid training hours and professional development (variable by state)

- Hourly, non‑exempt position
- Some college credits (≥48 units)
- State and federal background checks
- Three references, at least one with experience working with children (non‑family)
- TB risk assessment or test required
- Experience in Special Education
- Experience with elementary‑aged students
- Available 5 days a week, Monday‑Friday
- Commitment to daily 4‑hour shifts between 1 pm and 6 pm
- Support and engage students during after‑school activities, including homework help, enrichment, and structured play
- Supervise students to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment indoors and outdoors
- Assist staff with daily program routines, transitions, and behavior management while building strong student relationships
- Maintain physical readiness: sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs as needed
- Observe and communicate across varied environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
