Job Details

• Pay: $20 - $30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• Job Types: Part-time, Contract.
• Location: Poway, CA. Lessons conducted at students' homes, your own home or studio, or via webcam.
• Instrument: Guitar.

As a private music instructor at Taylor Robinson Music, you will teach guitar lessons to students in Poway and surrounding areas. You will develop lesson plans, set your own schedule, and have full autonomy over curriculum. The company provides marketing, advertising, SEO, and billing support so you can focus on teaching.

• Teach guitar lessons in-person, at student homes, your own studio, or via webcam.
• Travel to students' residences within the Poway, CA area.
• Maintain accurate lesson records and student progress.
• Communicate regularly with the office and manage lesson scheduling.

• Experience teaching guitar or relevant music instruction.
• Either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
• Strong communication skills, punctuality, and organization.

• Independent contractor status with ability to set your own hours.
• Willingness to travel to students' locations and adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines (wear mask, hand sanitation, social distancing as required).
• Ability to use remote teaching tools for occasional webcam lessons.
