The Program Administrator (PA) is responsible for program execution using best planning practices and exceptional communication to translate deadlines and customer/internal needs to the internal team. The PA is also responsible for program planning, schedule/budget development and sustainment, issues escalation, etc. The PA must have an aptitude and eagerness to learn, speak up when problems arise, and follow the process. The PA must be a self-starter with great time management skills and very strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Develop plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet contractual/internal requirements
- Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual/internal, cost, and schedule objectives are met
- Interface between Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing to identify constraints, and develop plans that meet customer and internal needs
- Engage in process improvement projects with interconnecting departments to ensure positive, clear communication of priorities
- Plan, prioritize, execute, follow up, and anticipate changes
- Participate in reviews (e.g. design, manufacturing, etc.) and proposal efforts
- Mitigate risks and anticipate potential complications
- 2+ years of experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred
- Experience with ERP, especially SAP or SAP B1, preferred
- Basic knowledge of the AS9100 Quality Management System is preferred
- Highly self-motivated and proactive
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Excellent expository writing and oral presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills, including confidential information
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Must be a US Person (This position has export control and security-related requirements that mandate attention to the citizenship status of any potential candidate and necessitates that the individual either be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident of the United States, or lawfully admitted into the United States as a refugee or granted asylum by the United States Government.)
