We have an exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Integration Engineer working in our Electrical Engineering group in Poway, CA. Engineers will support sub-assembly design through manufacturing, initial testing, integration onto the physical aircraft, and work among peers in a team environment, all within Poway.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the electrical integration of avionics modules and payloads into unmanned air vehicle systems.
- Design cables and wire harnesses that interconnect electronic equipment within the vehicle.
- Generate system cable interconnect diagrams, point‑to‑point cable wiring schematics, cable lengths, routing details, and cable BOM.
- Conduct integration tests to verify functional operation.
- Create test fixtures and procedures for system‑level test.
- Apply basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve routine engineering problems.
- Familiar with applicable airworthiness and military standards.
- Develop documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicate results to project engineering staff.
- Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications- Typically requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree. Equivalent engineering experience may substitute for education.
- Must have a general understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience demonstrating application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established time frames.
- Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills to enable an effective interface with other professionals, produce appropriate documentation, and present results to a limited internal audience.
- Must work both independently and on a team.
- Able to work extended hours as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
Full‑Time Salary
Salary Range68,770 – 116,193
