Electrical Integration Engineer

We have an exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Integration Engineer working in our Electrical Engineering group in Poway, CA. Engineers will support sub-assembly design through manufacturing, initial testing, integration onto the physical aircraft, and work among peers in a team environment, all within Poway.

• Responsible for the electrical integration of avionics modules and payloads into unmanned air vehicle systems.
• Design cables and wire harnesses that interconnect electronic equipment within the vehicle.
• Generate system cable interconnect diagrams, point‑to‑point cable wiring schematics, cable lengths, routing details, and cable BOM.
• Conduct integration tests to verify functional operation.
• Create test fixtures and procedures for system‑level test.
• Apply basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve routine engineering problems.
• Familiar with applicable airworthiness and military standards.
• Develop documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicate results to project engineering staff.
• Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree. Equivalent engineering experience may substitute for education.
• Must have a general understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience demonstrating application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established time frames.
• Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills to enable an effective interface with other professionals, produce appropriate documentation, and present results to a limited internal audience.
• Must work both independently and on a team.
• Able to work extended hours as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
