Product Engineer, Software Engineer
The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Works closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. Developers may solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements.
Software Engineers who design, write and test code for the product should be matched in the either Software Engineering Applications or Systems. Product developers who specialize in hardware systems should be matched to Hardware Engineering.
- Perform routine professional-based activities early in career.
- Contribute to and manage projects mid-career.
- Provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert).
- Leverage professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal).
- Build productive internal/external working relationships.
- Occasionally lead the work of project teams and formally train junior staff.
UX Design specialization within Engineering(PD) Job Family is to design solutions that are informed by user & business needs, aspiring to creating the best experience/product. By conducting research, user behaviors, needs and preferences are investigated to drive solutions that are aligned with user goals. UX design teams assess business needs, technology & design trends, collaborate with other product development design/engineering teams and product management to ensure strategic and user goals are met.
Qualificationsand Experience
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree. - Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Salary range: $111,000 - $140,000.
