Staff Material And Process Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Material And Process Engineer with our ASI Division, located in Poway, CA.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in metallic additive manufacturing, metallurgical analysis, material processing, mechanical testing, nondestructive inspection, and related materials technologies.
• Establish materials laboratory procedures. Perform material related failure investigations to determine root cause and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Investigate and implement material related design and manufacturing process improvements.
• Resolve manufacturing and nonconformance issues as they relate to materials and finishes.
• Participate in supplier quality audits for metallic processes and finishes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
• Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
