We have an exciting opportunity within the GA ITS Solutions Enterprise Applications organization for a Senior SharePoint Architect & Administrator with deep expertise across SharePoint Online, on-premises SharePoint Server environments, and the Microsoft 365 Power Platform.

In this senior-level role, you will serve as the technical authority for GA’s SharePoint ecosystem—architecting solutions, driving governance, and leading the continued evolution of our collaboration platforms. You will support both a Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant and on-premises SharePoint Server environments that serve the needs of our defense and government programs.

• Platform Architecture & Administration:
  Architect, deploy, and administer enterprise SharePoint environments spanning SharePoint Online (M365 GCC High tenant) and on-premises SharePoint Server, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Lead design and implementation of site architecture, information architecture, and governance frameworks that scale to enterprise needs and align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Manage site collections, web applications, content databases, and service applications across GA’s SPOL tenants and SharePoint SE farm; monitor and tune for optimal performance.
• Administer and support Microsoft Project Server / Project Online, including configuration, permissions, site provisioning, and ongoing operational support for enterprise project management capabilities.
• Plan and execute SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and environment consolidations using tools such as SPMT and Share Gate.
• Maintain and optimize Search service applications, managed metadata/term store, content types, site columns, and taxonomy to ensure enterprise-wide findability.
• Configure and maintain SharePoint hybrid scenarios, including hybrid search, hybrid sites, and One Drive for Business hybrid.

• Serve as the resident subject matter expert on Microsoft 365 GCC High, with deep familiarity of its compliance posture (FedRAMP High, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR/EAR) and architectural constraints compared to commercial M365.
• Communicate GCC High limitations to stakeholders, including restricted external sharing, limited third-party app catalog availability, slower feature rollout, and absence of certain Graph API capabilities.
• Evaluate third-party add-ins, connectors, and Power Platform integrations for GCC High compatibility before deployment.
• Maintain compliance with data handling standards for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and align SharePoint configurations with CMMC and NIST 800-171 obligations.
• Partner with the security team to implement and manage sensitivity labels, Microsoft Purview Information Protection policies, and DLP configurations within GCC High.

• Develop and maintain advanced Power Shell scripts using the PnP Power Shell framework, SharePoint Online Management Shell, and the Microsoft Graph Power Shell SDK to automate provisioning, configuration, reporting, and lifecycle tasks at scale.
• Create robust, reusable, well-documented script libraries for bulk site creation, permissions auditing, quota management, orphaned account cleanup, and content migration operations.
• Use Power Shell to extend capabilities in the GCC High environment where GUI tooling or Graph API functionality may be limited.
• Build automated health-check, alerting, and reporting pipelines to surface environment metrics to IT leadership and stakeholders.

• Design and implement Power Automate workflows to automate complex SharePoint-integrated business processes, including multi-stage approvals, document lifecycle automation, records management triggers, and data synchronization across systems.
